SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento gas prices are down 77.6 cents per gallon compared to last month with prices also down about 20 cents from the same time last year, according to gas price data company GasBuddy.
While the current average price per gallon is $5.10 in Sacramento, price reports show the cheapest station was $4.19 per gallon Sunday. The highest price per gallon in Sacramento was $6.28.
Sacramento's average gas prices fell 16.7 cents per gallon in the last week, outpacing the national average rate which only fell 5.3 cents in the same time period, but prices in the city are still higher than the current national average price of $3.45 per gallon.
