SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Sacramento man was arrested on suspicion of homicide after his baby boy died from injuries at the hospital.
The Sacramento Police Department says it responded to a hospital on Stockton Boulevard around 10 a.m. Tuesday after a mother brought her baby boy to the emergency room with injuries.
The baby was later pronounced dead.
Officers identified 22-year-old Miguel Jimenez, of Sacramento, as a suspect, and he was detained at the hospital. He was later arrested and booked on homicide-related charges, according to law enforcement.
The identity of the baby has not yet been released.
