SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Sacramento man was sentenced Thursday to seven years and three months in prison for receiving child porn.
According to Department of Justice officials, 40-year-old Bryan Tamblyn used an online pirating site to receive thousands of files of child porn, some depicting children younger than 12. It happened between July 2018 and August 2019.
He was also ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to a victim in the case and $5,000 for Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act assessment.
