SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash along Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
According to CHP, the collision happened Wednesday night along southbound I-5, north of Garden Highway, and involved one car. It was reported around 8:45 p.m.
While few details surrounding the crash were released, CHP officials confirmed there was one fatality.
Lanes one and two of I-5 in the area are blocked off for the investigation.
