SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was killed Sunday after a shooting in Del Paso Heights.
Just after 4 a.m., law enforcement responded to reports of a shooting on the 3900 block of High Street, according to Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Anthony Gamble.
Officers located a man with at least one gunshot wound and began providing emergency medical aid, Gamble said. He was then reportedly transported to the hospital.
The man later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
A suspect is not in custody, and law enforcement is investigating the incident, Gamble said.
