SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were injured after a car reportedly crashed into a Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) bus Sunday near Florin.

Around 7:45 a.m., a driver allegedly ran a red light and crashed their car into a bus at Franklin Boulevard and Florin Road, west of Sacramento County’s Florin neighborhood, according to SacRT spokeswoman Devra Selenis.

Selenis said one bus passenger and the driver of the car went to the hospital.

"My understanding is that both had minor non-life threatening injuries and may have been released already,” Selenis told ABC10.

The incident is still under investigation, she said.
