SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Three people were arrested Thursday after an armed robbery and chase in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a robbery around 9:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue. Police saw a vehicle leaving the area and began chasing the vehicle.
California Highway Patrol took over the chase, which lasted more than an hour and a half and went all over Sacramento, including the east area.
The vehicle eventually stopped and three people were arrested. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Takihala Ngaue of Sacramento, was arrested on suspicion of felony pursuit and the two passengers, 21-year-old Frank Tolo of Sacramento and 20-year-old Paea Malolo of Concord were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery.
