SACRAMENTO, Calif — A Woodland woman has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a man in early August 2024.
Police officers arrested 39-year-old Helen Burton for the death of 30-year-old Jonas Calhoun on Wednesday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The shooting happened at the 2500 block of Altos Avenue on Aug. 2 police said. Officers found Calhoun with at least one gunshot wound.
He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries police said.
Burton was booked into the Sacramento County jail and is facing homicide-related charges.
