SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Friday update:
Puppy Bowl competitor 'Bark' Purdy from the Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is advancing to the final round of the Most PUPular match.
Bark Purdy will be facing off against the terrier mix Fred from Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe.

The Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) alumni 'Bark' Purdy will be competing in this year's Puppy Bowl XX airing Feb. 11.
Thursday at 9 p.m. is your last chance to vote for the chihuahua mix to advance into the Pupularity Playoffs where he can be crowned the 'Most Pupular' pup.
Sacramento SPCA officials say they will also be hosting a Puppy Bowl-themed adoption event on Feb. 9 and 10.
"All dog adoption fees will be $20 that Friday and Saturday if the adopters come in football gear or repping their favorite team," a spokesperson said.
