SACRAMENTO, Calif — A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Sacramento's Northgate neighborhood Sunday evening.
According to Sacramento Fire Department, the collision happened just before 7 p.m. in the area of Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Way.
Fire officials said the victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. However, in an update, Sacramento Police Department said the victim appeared to have minor injuries.
No additional details surrounding the collision are available at this time, but police said the driver stayed at the scene of the collision.
