SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A bicyclist died days after a hit-and-run crash, officers with the Sacramento Police Department said Sunday.
According to police, the crash happened in the area of Natomas Boulevard and North Bend Drive around 11:34 a.m. Thursday. The bicyclist who was hit by the car was taken to a hospital where he died Saturday, police announced Sunday.
The driver of the car allegedly left the area before police got there. Investigators are asking witnesses to come forward by calling 916-808-5471.
Witnesses can report information anonymously and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 by calling Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357.
