SACRAMENTO, California — The Imaginarium at Cal Expo is open for the holidays with a “Holiday Lights, Fairytale Delights” show.
Located at 1600 Exposition Boulevard in Sacramento, this year's light show features five million lights. Childhood fairytale favorites such as Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, Thumbelina, and beautiful princesses will be at the show.
The 30-minute show features performers including jugglers, contortionists, hula hoopers and more. Beyond the light show, there's ice skating, photo boxes, forest mazes, rides, mirror rooms and more. Food is available for purchase.
When is the Imaginarium open?
It's open every day during the week of Thanksgiving (Nov. 20-24) and Christmas (Dec. 21- Jan. 7). Find the Calendar HERE.

- Thursday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Friday- Saturday: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
- Sunday: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

- Adult (13 to 62 years old): $27
- Child (3-12 years old): $21
- Children 2 and under are free
What can I bring?
There is a clear bag policy at Cal Expo and bags must be no larger than 12" by 12" by 2". People can carry in blankets and jackets as long as they are easily available for screening at entry.
