CALIFORNIA, USA — Cracker Barrel has closed four of its locations, the comfort food chain announced.
Two of the locations are in California, including one along Howe Avenue in Sacramento and another along Betteravia Road in Santa Maria.
"The decision to close a store is never one we take lightly, and our focus right now is on assisting our impacted employees during this transition," Cracker Barrel said in a statement.
Cracker Barrel has closed two other locations outside California, too. A location along Center Drive in Medford, Oregon has closed as well as one in Columbia, South Carolina along Forum Drive.
"Despite our best efforts to maintain our business in these locations, we've been unsuccessful. We are heartbroken to close these four locations, but we are grateful to our employees and guests who have supported us over the years," Cracker Barrel said in a statement.
There are five other locations in California, including one in Rocklin. Other California locations include Camarillo, Rialto, Bakersfield and Victorville. There are more than 660 locations across the U.S. Find more Cracker Barrel locations HERE.
