Structure saved from 300-acre grass fire in Sacramento

​Officials said crews were making progress on the fire until it jumped the levee.

SACRAMENTO, California — Fire crews battled a blaze that's grown to about 300 acres, just north of the Sacramento International Airport.

According to Sacramento Fire Department, the blaze was reported around West Elverta Road and Power Line Road around 4:40 p.m.

Officials said crews were making progress on the fire until it jumped the levee.

One structure was threatened but ultimately saved. There were no reported injuries. It's not clear what caused the fire.
