SACRAMENTO, California — A cyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition after they were hit by a car in Sacramento Wednesday afternoon.
The Sacramento Police Department said the collision was reported around 3:45 p.m. along the 2300 block of Boxwood Street.
The roadway near Boxwood and Calvados Avenue was temporarily closed for the investigation. Police said the cyclist's condition has become stable.
