SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in the Natomas Park neighborhood early Sunday morning.
According to police, the deadly shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 2300 block of Burberry Way Sunday.
When police got to the scene, they said they tried to perform life-saving measures on a man with at least one gunshot wound inside a home.
Firefighters pronounced the man dead at the scene. Officers are searching for the shooter and have not released information about him or her.
Detectives say they are still in the early stages of the investigation.
