With the incoming Governor's inauguration coming up on Monday, Californians will have the opportunity to celebrate with two main events leading up to the inauguration ceremony.
Common, Betty Who, Pitbull, Cold Weather Sons, X Ambassadors and DJ Gusto are coming together Sunday for a concert called California Rises, hosted by Governor-elect Gavin Newsom, in partnership with the California Fire Foundation.
Newsom is also hosting a free, family-friendly event at the California State Railroad Museum Sunday afternoon. All of this is before the inauguration ceremony Monday morning on the steps of the Capitol.
