Multiple people are in custody after gunshots were reported at Antelope Greens golf course.
According to Sgt. Shaun Hampton, spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, one person was shot in the foot Monday, May 7, at the golf course in Elverta. Law enforcement are still searching the course for guns. One woman and two men are in custody. Specific charges have not yet been revealed.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries.
No schools have been placed on lockdown, however, authorities are asking people to avoid the area as they look for a white man with dark clothing.
