SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was killed after being hit by a car in Sacramento Saturday morning, police said.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the man was hit by a car around 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of 15th Street and 60th Avenue. Officers say the driver involved in the crash did not stay at the scene, and have classified it as a hit-and-run.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses.
