House burns down near Camp Pollock in Sacramento. Fire cause is under investigation

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An abandoned two-story house burned down Sunday near Camp Pollock in Sacramento.

Around 10 a.m., crews with the Sacramento Fire Department responded to the 400 block of Del Paso Boulevard to a fully-involved, two-story house, according to Capt. Justin Sylvia, a department spokesman. The house was reportedly abandoned.

Upon arrival, firefighters said they decided to conduct defensive operations only to keep the fire from spreading to wildland. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.
