SACRAMENTO, Calif — A Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train derailed in the area of 7th and North B streets in Sacramento.
According to SacRT, the Green line, which runs from the River District to downtown Sacramento, was temporarily suspended due to a "mechanical issue."
Officials said there were no passengers on the train and no other vehicles involved.
Riders are being asked to use bus route 11 as crews try to clear the area.
