SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man died after being hit by a vehicle along Garden Highway in Sacramento Wednesday.
The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded around 7 p.m. to the 1400 block of Garden Highway for reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. The pedestrian's name wasn't released and police only identified them as a man. He died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and the police department said driving under the influence isn't believed to be a factor in the crash. No arrests have been made in the crash.
