CALIFORNIA, USA — A man was stabbed with a screwdriver Wednesday during a large fight in Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
The fight happened outside an event center on Watt Avenue. Deputies got reports of a large group of 70 men fighting around 11:45 p.m. outside the venue.
Deputies say a 911 caller told them a family member was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver and the person who did it left the area in a car.
The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office says the two people knew each other. Deputies are working to identify the two people.
The stabbing is under investigation.
