SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was wounded in a shooting in south Sacramento on Monday.
The Sacramento Police Department said around 11:25 p.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting near Shining Star Drive and La Fresa Court. Upon arrival, officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound.
The man was taken to a hospital. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
The shooting is under investigation.
