SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — A man died after crashing into a parked vehicle Sunday in Sacramento County.
California Highway Patrol said the crash happened on Bainbridge Drive west of Fair Play Drive in North Highlands. Officers said witnesses in the area said a man driving a pickup truck may have been driving recklessly.
He ran a stop sign, crashed into a parked vehicle, and hit another. The driver died at the scene and his name hasn't been released, but California Highway Patrol said he was in his 20s.
The crash is under investigation.
