SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento Police Department is searching for a shooter accused of killing a man in the city's Northgate neighborhood early Saturday morning.
According to police, the deadly shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the area of Edmonton Drive and Northstread Drive. Dispatchers sent officers to the area on reports of a shooting.
At the scene, officers found the victim and tried to perform life-saving measures before medics took him to a hospital where he later died. Investigators did not release information about the shooter involved but said that no suspects are in custody.
