Man hurt in Old Sacramento stabbing

Police do not have a description of the attacker.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed in Old Sacramento Friday, police said. 

The stabbing happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday near 2nd and K Streets, officers with the Sacramento Police Department said. Medics took the stabbing victim, described as an adult man, to a hospital.

Police described the victim's injuries as non-life-threatening. Officers say they canvassed the scene but did not make any arrests.

Officials have not released the attacker's description but said that the case remains active and open.
