SACRAMENTO, Calif — A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being hit by a car in Sacramento Thursday night.
Officer Anthony Gamble, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, said the collision happened in the area of Sutterville Road and 21st Street.
Officers arrived to find a woman in critical condition, who was ultimately taken to the hospital where is now in a stable condition.
Police said the driver is cooperating with the investigation, but at this time, it's not clear what led up to the collision.
