Streets reopen after Sacramento Police detain domestic violence suspect

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento Police Department asked people to avoid the area of Greenhaven Drive and Riverside Boulevard Saturday as officers tried to contact a domestic violence suspect.

Around 2:50 p.m., officers said the suspect was safely detained and that roadways had re-opened.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the person was potentially armed. Riverside Boulevard was closed between Greenhaven Drive and Hasvenside Drive.
