SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Republic FC will face off against the San Jose Earthquakes at Heart Health Park on Tuesday.
It's part of the U.S. Open Cup round of 16 where the two teams will clash. The match kicks off at 7 p.m., and Republic FC has the home-field advantage.
This will be a rematch of a 2022 U.S. Open Cup tournament match where Republic FC was victorious, and the win kickstarted the team's path to the Open Cup Final.
It's the fifth time the two teams have met including the round of 16 in 2022. San Jose won the first three matchups in 2014, 2015 and 2019.
The teams also played a preseason match in February that ended in a tie.

Parking
Parking is $15 and can be purchased upon arrival. Tailgate reservations are an additional $5.
Republic FC says heavy traffic is expected at the Exposition Boulevard exit on the I-80 Business Loop due to roadwork near the park. There could be major delays, and attendees should plan accordingly.
Bag Policy
Heart Health Park has a clear bag policy. People can bring clear plastic bags that aren't bigger than 12″ X 6″ X 12″. Handheld bags that aren't bigger than 5″ X 8″ are allowed and don't need to be clear. People can bring in parental bags, items that are medically necessary and blankets to be screened upon entering the park.

This week's food trucks include It’s Nacho Truck, Raclette Sandwiches, CA Street Tacos, Yolanda’s Tamales, Woodfire Pizza, Hefty Gyro, Drewskis, CornDog, Mr. Pops and Kona Ice.
