SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Having a good Halloween relies on multiple factors: trick-or-treating, spooky and fun events and even the weather. Sacramento has all of them and was recently ranked the 18th best place to go for Halloween, according to WalletHub, a personal finance company.
The capital city ranked with the best weather of major cities in the country, Sacramento is perfect for ghosts and ghouls who want to dress up with their costumes. Halloween's forecast is currently expected to be mostly sunny and warm with highs near 70°F.

WalletHub found Sacramento was the 18th best place to have “Halloween Fun,” which they measured through Halloween parties, costume and candy stores, haunted houses, farms and pumpkin patches, amusement parks and more per capita.
The city’s rating only went down because Sacramento was rated 48 in “Trick-or-Treating Friendliness,” which was measured by population density, walkability, crime and safety ratings, and potential of trick-or-treaters among other things per capita.
An estimated $12.2 billion will be spent celebrating this year with the average household spending about $109, according to WalletHub.
