SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Sacramento County is starting the week before Halloween off with an all-inclusive calendar full of events.
Whether you and your friends enjoy haunted houses, trick-or-treating, or festivals, there will be something for everyone to enjoy this weekend in Sacramento County.
The weather will be enjoyable for people to walk around in as temperatures will reach highs in the upper 60s and mid to lower 70s this weekend.
Here are some of the fall and Halloween events happening this weekend in Sacramento County.
Zittel Farms
A family-friendly pumpkin farm that has been operating since 1976. This pumpkin patch is a fan favorite that offers pumpkins in different colors and sizes.

Heights Kids Trunk or Treat
Kids can enjoy wearing Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating from different cars. There will also be bounce houses and games for the kids to enjoy.

Farm to Fort Experience
This is the third annual event that Farm to Fort puts on that features Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park. Guests can enjoy entertainment on all levels like music, beer, wine, a raffle, food from local Midtown restaurants, and a costume contest.

Hallo-Palooza Trunk-or-Treat
Elk Grove’s third-annual event that features many activities for family and friends to enjoy. Activities include trick or treating with Elk Grove Police Department, live music, art projects, costume contests for kids and pets, and more

Spooklishy Fun Movie Night
Are you ready to get spooked? Family and friends can expect a free Halloween event that includes a movie in the park, games, trick or treating, and more. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs as the movie “Ghostbusters” will be playing.
Gates open at 5:45 p.m. and the movie will start at sunset on Friday, Oct. 25

Boots and Buckles Halloween Swing Dance Night With Cliff Huey 27 Outlaws
Knock out your boots and bring on the dancing. There will be music, swing dancing, food and more. People attending are encouraged to bring family and friends. This event is 21 and older.

Old Town Trick or Treat
Bring out the costumes and get ready to fill those buckets with candy. A free community event in which those can enjoy trick or treat on 4th Street between B and E Street.

Festifall and Trick or Treating
Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and head down to Historic Folsom. Businesses up and down the street will pass out candy. Shops on the street will be open to the public.

Trick or Treat at Haggin Oaks
Who doesn’t like mini golf and candy? This is the second annual event where families and little ones can trick or treat by following a path of orange balloons. Kids can enjoy free mini golf while they tackle on the golf course.

Wild Howl-O-Ween
Fourth annual event that features trick or treating with the animals. Those participating will follow a map around the park while stopping at different spots to receive treats. Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

Folsom Public Safety Trunk-or-Treat
Come enjoy trick or treating with the Folsom Police and Fire Department. There will be games, vehicles on display, police officers, firefighters and more. Those participating are encouraged to wear costumes but refrain from wearing masks and bringing weapons.

Keema’s Pumpkin Farm
