SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were hospitalized after two vehicles went off Highway 160 in Sacramento Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Blumenfeld and Fee Drive.
A CHP sergeant said a Nissan Sentra with three men inside came from underneath the freeway — where there's a small dirt median area — and crossed in front of a red Chevy Silverado pickup on Highway 160.
Both cars were pushed off the road.
The driver of the Silverado wasn't hurt, but the driver and the passenger in the Sentra were. Police said they had major injuries and a passenger in the back seat of the Sentra wasn't hurt.
Officials said they're not sure if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
