SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox and his wife are expecting their second child together.
Fox, 26, announced the news Friday via Instagram. His wife, Recee, also shared the news Saturday with her own post. The baby will be the couple’s second after their son, Reign, who was born on Feb. 3, 2023.
“There’s nothing I’ve ever wanted more than to grow a family with you,” Fox wrote in his post. “Reigny’s going to be the best big brother.”
Recee Fox, 27, played in two games for the Seattle Storm in the 2019 WNBA preseason. She said she broke her wrist three weeks before training camp, which prevented her from playing in the professional league any longer.
“II Hands II Heaven,” she wrote in her post announcing her pregnancy.
De’Aaron and Recee Fox were married in August 2022 in Malibu.
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha, announced Sunday the birth of their fourth child, Caius Chai, who was born May 11, 2024.
The Currys are also parents to Riley, 11; Ryan, 8; and Canon, 5. Caius Chai is the couple's first child since 2018, according to ESPN. Ayesha Curry publicized her pregnancy in March through her magazine, Sweet July.
In the article, Ayesha Curry said she and her husband agreed their fourth child would complete their family. They have been married since 2011.
