CALIFORNIA, USA — A 57-year-old man from Sacramento was hit and killed by a car Monday night, according to California Highway Patrol.
The man was hit on northbound Highway 160 south of Arden Way around 10:40 p.m. A 56-year-old man from Sacramento was driving on Highway 160 and saw a pedestrian in the road. The driver tried to stop but collided with the man.
The man died at the scene and his name wasn't released. CHP is investigating the crash but said drugs and alcohol don't appear to be a factor.
