Person falls about 20 feet from decking to ground near the Sacramento River

Firefighters brought the person back to street level to be taken to a local hospital.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A person fell about 20 feet from decking in Old Sacramento to the ground near the Sacramento River on Saturday night.

The Sacramento Fire Department wrote in a Tweet that firefighters responded at around 11:30 p.m. The person was brought back up to the street level to be transported to a local hospital.

Just before 11:30pm Sacramento Fire responded for a person who had fallen approx 20’ from the decking in old Sac to the ground near the Sacramento River. The patient was stable and a rescue was implemented to bring the patient back to the street level for transport to a hospital. pic.twitter.com/doq63hZUWc
