SACRAMENTO, California — A Sacramento police officer was released from a hospital after crashing during a chase, officials said.
A spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department said officers were chasing a car in the area of Howe and College Town around 10 p.m. when they were involved in a crash.
The officer was taken to a hospital as a precaution after a complaint of back pain but has since been released.
No additional information on the incident is available at this time.
