SACRAMENTO, Calif — Thousands were without power near the Sacramento Executive Airport on Friday evening.
Before 5:30 p.m., SMUD's outage map showed 15,517 customers affected in the neighborhoods near the airport. That number decreased shortly to 8,609 people without power. At 6:18 p.m., the number of customers went down to 4,390.
Power was restored after 6:30 p.m.
The reason for the outage was not clear.
