Sacramento USPS letter carrier robbed, up to $150,000 reward available for arrest of suspect

The suspect was armed and stole the carrier’s postal keys.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The United States Postal Inspection Service says it's investigating the robbery of a letter carrier in Sacramento.

"The suspect was armed and stole the carrier’s postal keys," said USPIS Postal Inspector Jonathan Lanning. "We are offering a reward for anyone who has information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect."

The robbery happened near the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Lampasas Avenue in Sacramento just before 6 p.m. on July 31. In a flyer, officials say the suspect took off on a black eBike.

A reward of up to $150,000 is available.
