SACRAMENTO, Calif — A man is dead after a stabbing in the Old North Sacramento area.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the stabbing was reported near Traction Avenue and Colfax Street around 4 p.m.
Officer Cody Tapley, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, said a man was found with life-threatening wounds, but despite efforts from first responders, he was ultimately pronounced dead.
Tapley said a second man was found on scene with non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
No additional information surrounding the stabbing or what led up to it has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
