SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento firefighters saved two residents from a home kitchen fire Friday, officials said.
The two victims were pulled out of a fire in the 7900 block of Hanford Way and were taken to the hospital with injuries, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. The fire happened around 4:42 p.m. and has since been put out.
Both were adults, one suffered burn injuries and the other suffered smoke inhalation. Their condition is unknown at this time but Battalion Chief Keith Wade says they didn't appear to be life threatening.
No other details are available at this time and an investigation into what started the fire is underway.
