SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A new Japanese retailer is set to open in the Sacramento area.
Uniqlo is set to open at the Arden Fair Mall on September 13, bringing everyday, high-quality clothing items to Sacramento County. This is the brand's first location in the capital city.
When the store opens, there will be exclusive promotions, giveaways and special customer experiences, according to Uniqlo.
Uniqlo said it will work with Sacramento Homeless Union and Street Soccer USA to "support and empower" the community. The retailer said through its in-store collection program it will donate gently used Uniqlo clothes to the Sacramento Homeless Union.
“California has been so supportive to us as a brand, we’re eager to expand our offerings in the region as well as join the vibrant local community at its capitol," Nicolas Cessot, Head of Marketing, UNIQLO North America said in a statement. "We look forward to bringing our high-quality, innovative LifeWear and exceptional retail experience to Sacramento customers, along with giving back through our partnered work with the Sacramento Homeless Union."
The Arden Fair Mall location is located at 1689 Arden Way, Space 1254 in Sacramento.
Other California stories are opening later this year including a Westfield Galleria at Roseville location on October 4, along with Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on September 27 and Westfield UTC in San Diego on October 18.
