SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A United Airlines plane heading from Vancouver to San Francisco made an emergency landing at the Sacramento International Airport Wednesday.
The plane was diverted to Sacramento due to a burning odor in the cabin, according to United Airlines. The flight landed safely in Sacramento and all passengers deplaned at the gate.
There were 179 passengers on board and 6 crew members, according to United Airlines. The plane was a Boeing 737-900.
According to the United Airlines Flight Status tracker, the plane departed from Vancouver, Canada around 7 a.m. Wednesday and arrived at the Sacramento International Airport around 9:15 a.m. The plane departed the Sacramento International Airport around 12:30 p.m. and arrived at the San Francisco International Airport around 1:23 p.m.
