SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District says a body was recovered from the water by the Sacramento County Sheriff's dive team Saturday evening.
This comes following a previously reported water rescue in the American River in Rancho Cordova around noon.
According to fire officials, a person went underwater and didn’t return to the surface. Officials say the victim was a man in his 30s.
