SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A woman was killed after she was hit by a vehicle in the South Natomas area Friday night.
The Sacramento Police Department said the crash happened after 7:30 p.m. in the area of Northgate Boulevard and Rosin Court.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with life-threatening injuries who was later pronounced dead. Police said the male driver of the vehicle stayed on scene with officers. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation, police said.
The identity of the woman has not been released.
