SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — The current atmospheric river storm has officials throughout the Sacramento region deploying mitigation techniques to help residents protect their properties from flooding.
Cities throughout the Sacramento area are offering free sandbag pickups. Residents looking to visit a sandbag pick-up location are advised to bring their own shovel.
