FOLSOM, Calif. — A new Shake Shack opens Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Palladio shopping center in Folsom.
At 10:30 a.m., the burger place at 210 Palladio Parkway, Suite 2105, will open, according to Shake Shack spokeswoman Kate DeMarco. It is the third Sacramento-area location and the 46th in California, she said.
Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold on opening day to Twin Lakes Food Bank, and the first wave of guests can expect custom tote bags from the restaurant.
The Folsom location will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, according to the chain. Guests can order via app and website in the coming weeks.
Originally created in 2004 as a hot dog stand in New York City, Shake Shack now serves a variety of burgers, chicken, fries and shakes. Its headquarters remain in New York.
The chain said it runs roughly 510 locations worldwide.
