FOLSOM, Calif. — Slice House, a pizza place, plans a February launch amid Folsom Ranch business openings.
Folsom's newest pizza parlor, which aims for a Feb. 5 opening, is brought to the Sacramento region by Tony Gemignani, a Guiness world record-holder for largest pizza base spun in three minutes and longest pizza. Gemignani is a two-time Food Network gold medalist, according to his social media.
The location is franchised and operated by Sandeep Gill, and the shop will bring more than 30 total full and part-time jobs to the Folsom community, according to a news release.
Gemignani’s restaurants feature a variety of pizzas, pasta, wings, salads, beer and wine. It will seat about 60 and offer online ordering, takeout and delivery.
Slice House will be located in The Shops at Folsom Ranch on East Bidwell Street between a nail parlor and Bento Box sushi, according to layouts from The Edwards Company.
Gemignani said last month on social media Folsom Slice House training was held in Walnut Creek.
“We are grateful to have a strong, existing local following and we look forward to partnering with Sandeep, an experienced and committed operator, to open this new Slice House location in Folsom..." Gemignani said.
Slice House opened in San Francisco in 2010 and expanded to include nine locations. Folsom will be its 10th.
“I am very proud to open the first Slice House by Tony Gemignani in Folsom next month,” Gill said. “I am confident the new Slice House will become a favorite of Folsom Ranch and the greater community.”
Slice House has roughly 96 locations including Folsom in development, the release said. Other capital-region locations include Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Stockton and Tracy, according to the pizza restaurant’s website.
The shop will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

ABC10 previously reported Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop opened Dec. 7, 2023, in The Shops. The Habit Burger Grill is also slated for a 2024 opening in the shopping center, according to the Edwards Company.
