SONORA, Calif. — Two men are in stable condition after a rollover crash in Sonora early Saturday morning.
The Sonora Police Department said officers were called to the 800 block of Shaws Flat Road for the rollover crash around 1:30 a.m. Police said a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was heading northbound when it left the road and overturned. It's not clear why the car left the road.
One of the two men was ejected from the car while the other, the driver, was pinned inside it. First responders were able to get the driver out of the car and start treating both victims. They were eventually taken to hospitals with major injuries, but according to police, both are in stable condition as of Sunday morning.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
