SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A four-year-old boy is in stable condition after he shot himself in South Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Police responded to a shopping center on 4500 block of Mack Road just after 1:45 p.m. of reports of the shooting.
According to the police, the boy has been transported to the hospital.
Police said the boy's mother, 26-year-old Latisha Walker, was arrested and booked on a number of related charges including criminal storage of a firearm and endangering the life of of a child.
